Olubunmi Abayomi-Olukunle to Speak at ELLAN Employment Law Conference 2025

Olubunmi Abayomi-Olukunle, Partner at Balogun Harold & Co, will be speaking at the Employment and Labour Law Conference 2025, organized by the Employment and Labour Lawyers Association of Nigeria (ELLAN). The conference, themed “Employment Law at Crossroads: Navigating Legal Challenges in the Modern Workplace”, will be held on July 9, 2025, in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The program will explore contemporary issues in employment law, including workplace ethics, labour law compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution, with particular focus on the interpretation and application of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) Guidelines for the Release of Staff in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry, as highlighted in recent decisions of the National Industrial Court.

Olu will share insights from his experience advising on complex employment and corporate law matters, providing practical guidance for lawyers, HR professionals, and corporate leaders navigating Nigeria’s evolving employment landscape.
