Balogun Harold Advises ThriveAgric on International Partnership Delivering $50 Million in Carbon Credit Revenue

We are pleased to have advised ThriveAgric, a leading Nigerian agritech company, on its partnership with Acorn, Rabobank’s climate action program. This collaboration empowers over 30,000 smallholder farmers across nine Nigerian states through sustainable agricultural practices, including agroforestry and regenerative agriculture, and facilitates access to carbon credit revenue.

Balogun Harold provided comprehensive legal support throughout the transaction, including partnership structuring, documentation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring a smooth and compliant execution in line with Nigerian and international standards.

This initiative is set to generate $50 million in carbon credit revenue, helping farmers diversify their income, contribute to environmental sustainability, and strengthen Africa’s climate action efforts.
